Mineral De Pozos in Guanajuato State in north central Mexico is
a "ghost town" that is coming back to life due to the
influx of an international group of artists, writers and musicians
who have built homes, studios and galleries in this formerly abandoned
mining town. Located at a scenic 7200 ft. above sea level, forty-five
minutes northeast of San Miguel De Allende the town is filled with
beautiful ruins and views of the high desert plains and mountains.
A delightful climate of eternal spring supports giant Maguey and
Organo Cactus' that grow wild, embellished during the spring, summer
and fall with vivid Desert wildflowers.
